C&M was contracted to design, fabricate, install and test two precision positioning systems for the Anechoic System Test Facility at the Naval Weapons Support Center in Crane, Indiana. Each system consisted of:

• Test item positioner/rotator
• Calibrated transducer positioner/pan & tilt
• Computer driver control console

Each positioning system provides for precisely locating a calibrated acoustic transducer with respect to various test items, each of which may be rotated to provide any aspect angle.

Each system was installed within a 2500 PSI pressure vessel.
