C&M
supported the Naval Underwater Systems Center with the fabrication,
installation and checkout of the Submarine Antenna Test Platform
at Fishers Island, NY. C&M was responsible for:
- Development
of PLC computer control system
- Design
and fabrication of deployment/retrieval winch/cable reel
- Fabrication
of structural elements
- Fabrication
and installation of a permanent landing base, off-shore in
30 feet of water
- Assembly
of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Acquisition
of fiber optic subsea cable
- Land-based
integration testing
- Installation
and checkout at Fishers Island
